Careful

(taken from paramore.net)

I settled down
A twisted up frown disguised as a smile
Well you would've never known
I had it all but not what I wanted
'Cause hope for me was a place uncharted and overgrown

You'd make your way in
I'd resist you just like this you can't tell me to feel
The truth never set me free so I did it myself

You can't be too careful anymore
When all that is waiting for you won't come any closer
You've got to reach out a little more

Open your eyes like I opened mine
It's only the real world:
A life you will never know
Shifting your weight to throw off the pain
Well you can ignore it but only for so long

You look like I did
“You resist me just like this you can't tell me to heal!”
And it hurts remembering how it felt to shut down

You can't be too careful anymore
When all that is waiting for you won't come any closer
You've got to reach out a little more

The truth never set me free so I'll do it myself

You can't be too careful anymore
When all that is waiting for you won't come any closer
You've got to reach out a little more

Persami: Day 1

Hola. amigos! Long time no see ya!

Early in the October, I joined the Persami (Perkemahan Sabtu Minggu) so I can't update this thing. Okay then, I'll tell ya about my weekend.

--

Saturday, October 1st, 2011.

I woke up early in the morning. I was too excited about Persami, so--however--I can woke up unusually. Then I checked my stuff that I'll bring to Persami today. Okay, all was set. I took a bath and wore my scout uniform quickly--because the DKGs (8th grade students who was recommended by the teachers to accompany 7th grade who joined Persami) have to arrived in school early than the 7th grades.

I ate my breakfast in the car for save the time. I arrived in school, luckily, the training for opening ceremony for DKGs are not started yet. Kirana and me went to teacher's room for took some ribbon for each group. After that, we went back to school field and told the other DKGs: Ave, Laila, Lutfia, Afif, Andra, Awwal, Akrim, Reeza, Ugha, and Faisal to took the ribbon for their group too.

--

There is 12 groups:  5 girls, 7 boys. In fact, my juniors contain 70+ boys and 50 girls. Each group has one seniors (DKG--Dewan Galang) to accompany them. Here we are (I can't remember all the juniors and companion teachers name so I can't wrote it here, haha):
  1. Bougenville. Senior: Lutfia
  2. Anggrek.  Senior: Ave
  3. Nusa Indah. Senior: Mitha (a.k.a. Me!)
  4. Sakura. Senior: Laila
  5. Flamboyan. Senior: Kirana
  6. Singa. Senior: Afif
  7. Scorpion. Senior: Awwal
  8. Kancil. Senior: Andra
  9. Kuda Terbang. Senior: Ugha
  10. Harimau. Senior: Faisal
  11. Elang. Senior: Akrim
  12. Rajawali. Senior: Reeza
Okay, let's get the Persami started! Me and my group worn the ribbon on our scout uniform, left arm. And then we took our things and walked to a big field behind school. Yesterday (September 30th) we had built our tent, so all we do now is just putted our bags into the tent.

....Guess what, my group got a PINK AND PURPLE TENT.

Hahaha. FYI,  I accompanied Nusa Indah group and we got pink for our identity color. Actually, the DKGs must bought the slayers for each group. Each slayer are colored by each group's identity color: Purple, light blue, pink, light green, yellow, grey, black, red, blue, green, brown, etc. I can't remembered all boys group color: they are too many. Haha. Back to the story, so we can't found slayer as much as that--more than 100 slayers with different colors, just by 2 days! So we weren't use slayer. Alhamdulillah. Just imagine how silly I am with pink slayer.

FYI, when I was in 7th grade and was joined the Persami, my group got pink too. Ahh.

Okay, then we held an opening ceremony. The air was very hot so I almost got fainted. I can't stand it!

Girls' tent! Mine is in the middle, the brown-roof one!

Boys' tent._.

Okaaaay so we went back to the tent for preparation for... umm I don't know how to say it in English, maybe... some adventure? Haha.

So, the DKGs gathered in a tent and discuss about the "adventure" with the scout coach. The seniors will be a keeper for each post during the journey. Afif and Laila in 1st post; Kirana, Ave, and Reeza in 2nd post; Akrim, Awwal, and Faisal in 3rd post; Lutfia and Andra in 4th post; then I and Ugha in the last post, 5th post.

This "adventure" spent time till Dzuhur. When all the groups arrived in my post, we took a break for a while for Dzuhur prayer. I waited soooo looooong for the groups who was worked on their task: made a map. When the last group was leaving to the camp, I and Ugha went back to the camp too, for LUNCH! We always had our meals at senior's tent. Haha

We had a free time after that adventure. So we spent it for tidy up the tent, chat, and so on. Time went quickly, and suddenly it was 4 PM. Time to cooking!

Some of my group member cooked while the rest of them played some scout games in the other side of the field. My group cooked soup, tempe, and omelet. Cooking in outdoor is hard, y'know. My group member brought a portable stove and guess what?

When we tried to turn on the stove, THE STOVE IS BROKEN.

AND ALMOST EXPLODED.

Fortunately, our male teachers came and fix it before something worse happened. But it was the same as before--we can't use that stove. So our teacher made a hole near our tent and made fire. We cooked in traditional way~ but that's scout, isn't it?

After cooking, we took a bath in school's bathroom. We were given an announcement that in 1st floor bathroom is for girls and 2nd till 3rd floor bathroom are for boys. However, based in fact that boys are more than girls. Me and Ave walked to school (just take a look in "girls' tent" picture to imagine how far is it from the field to our school :p) and we must waiting--there is so many girls there.

I took a bath quickly and went back to the campsite. The meals that my group was cooked is... eaten. Hahaha :p

Sun setting quickly and suddenly, Maghrib came. We took wudhu and then did Maghrib prayer. Just a hour before Isya' prayer, and then the campfire party was set!

All of us made a big circle around the campfire. Then the opening ceremony started. Ten juniors brought a torch to made the campfire. That ten juniors made a smaller circle around the campfire, light the torch one by one while said Dasa Dharma's points loudly.

Campfire was set!

Each group perform a show--singing, the classical way. Wanna know my group's performance?

Siapa yang cinta Nusa Indah
Pasti mendapat kegembiraan
Nusa Indah, Nusa Indah
Kelompok paling hebat
Kelompok paling kompak
Kelompok paling...
Nusa, owowo Indah
Nusa Indah pancen oye!
Nusa Indah~!
(echoed) Nusa Indah, Nusa Indah, Nusa Indah!

HUAHAHAHAHA.

Oh yeah, and in the end of performs, the DGs made a plan to perform together. We sang a song. Before that, we jumped and shouted loudly. My group was even crazier than me. They're echoed, "Kak Mitha! Kak Mitha! Kak Mitha!" while Anggrek group echoed, "Kak Ave! Kak Ave! Kak Ave!" :D Wanna know our song? Here it is:

Ketika siapa saja sendirian
DKG datang membawa hiburan
Ciptakan suasana tak terlupakan
Datang kemari, kita senang-senang
Semua berdiri, DKG beraksi!
Andecang, andeci, DKG paling oke
Andecang, andeci, DKG paling oke!

I LOVE THAT NIGHT :*

Love you all, friends.

We made a plan to slept together in the middle of field. We play guitar, cards, singing, and chat together.
